I'm looking for NaruSasu Fics that are complete with at least 12 chapters. 

WIP are Ok as well, but only if they are lengthy and worth the cliffhanger.

Naruto must be the seme! 
(any genre AU, Canon , Ninja-verse)

The longer the better. 

Must be rated (M) or above.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it is SASUnaru community, not NaruSasu. Are there no NaruSasu communities?

That is correct. However, your allowed to ask specifically for NaruSasu as well. As far as I've seen, there doesn't seem to be any currently active communities for NaruSasu like this one. Except sns-ficsearch.

There is a NaruSasu community (http://naruxsasu.livejournal.com/) that is, sadly, not very active but for a few regular authors and a NaruSasu Fic Rec community (http://narusasu-recs.livejournal.com/) that hasn't been active since nearly a year. You'll find great works, even though some have been deleted (they can be pretty old).

I second Almost Sucks by mashiro, it's wonderful and it always gets to me everytime I go back to reread some part of it.
I'd say a few words about Torrid by kagekitsune too, but I think you already know it ^_^ That means you know Role Play too but if not it's pretty much what you're asking for.

The Sound of Dreams by zrina is both complete and lengthy. There's some switching but it's predominantly NaruSasu. It's really worth the read, it has both a relationship build up and an interesting and solid plot plus some really original ideas.

I'd say Talk to Me by rasengan22 is close enough to what you're looking for and I'm fairly certain you'd like the story even if it wasn't precisely what you had in mind. Simply put, it's a good story. It pulls you in no matter what you're in the mood for. I think it's posted on ygallery and if not you can get a hold of it from those who have it saved on their computer.


I have a few other stories in mind that more or less fit your criteria:

Self-Reliance is a NaruSasu mpreg, has been discontinued after 16 chapters and is a fandom classic.

Teamwork by askerian is a NaruSasuSaku with Naruto as top; it's still ongoing and is a lot longer than 12 chapters. Outside of the storyline itself, the whole verse is really well developed and quite interesting.

Cracking frames and it's sequel Fixing The Cracks have 10 chapters in total and actually felt shorter than that to me; however it does have a strong sense of progression and covers several years. It's not exactly top-notch but it's ok and the writer is good at conveying emotion.

That's it. This made me realise most of what I've read have been really long one shots xD

Almost none of these stories have a sharp seme/uke distinction or exaggerate those kind of traits, as I tend to avoid stories which do.

Is it weird that for some reason I felt like I should rec stories with smut, the more the better? I don't know if that's what you had it mind with seme!Naruto - maybe my brain made a non-existing connection with what I'm looking for when I want stuff with a specific seme/uke dynamic.
And yet, despite my efforts, the amount of smut is no more than reasonable. *is slightly peeved but happy at all the plotty, witty, contenty things read so far xD *

LOL Indeed, I tend to lean more towards M rated material, but plot is usually more important; though having
a balance of the two is just as well.XD
I switch between sasunaru to narusasu to a combination of both. Just depends what I'm in the mood for :)

It makes me so happy to hear that! You have no idea, I'm practically beaming xD
I almost never feel like I can get across what I'm trying to say, it's pretty frustrating and discouraging and causes uni essays to arrive way past the deadline -_- so this is good news, especially since I wish the quality of the fics would reflect on my writing, and not the other way around, to have my uninspired comments reflect badly on the fics. The more I like a story/author, the more pressure I feel. I'm happy I can get across at least some of how awesome a story is.
I'm relieved you find my notes and opinions more hlelpful than long-winded ^_^;

I think a story can be memorable or enjoyable no matter the rating or length if the author is good. But part of what I like best about fanfiction is that it can explore topics and situations outside the 'mainstream', and those usually fall under higher ratings.
Besides the yay!! smut ＼(^o^)／ immediate reaction and the pure enjoyment factor, I think if well written lemons complete a story or are simply interesting to read.
I don't really care who gets to top, I'm more interested in how that's handled.

This encourages me to try to review more and lurk less. But lurking feels so much more natural and safe. damn. damn you comfort zone.

lol It really does help, because knowing how the story affected the person reading it builds up more anticipation and curiosity.^_^
Whereas reading so many summaries can become a little repetitive and sends someone into the story a bit blindly. (Though that can be just as curiosity piqueing, but it gets mowed down a lot after you've checked out over 10 stories.) And reading the reviews on fanfiction.net can very easily spoil the ending of what you started, so I tend to avoid them at all costs until I myself write my own review. >_<'
So yeah, It is a good idea in my opinion when you voice how much you enjoy it without spoiling anything. :)

Tbh, I don't really read multichapter'ed fanfics with only naruto topping, I'm very picky because I've been disappointed several times. But this fic imo doesn't disappoint.
